Vladimir Antonov faked his own death and legalized his status in the EU using forged documents and criminal connections

The former owner of Lithuania’s Snoras and Latvia’s Krājbanka, Vladimir Antonov, has not simply disappeared from the radar.

He has built himself a second life in Europe, relying on the help of shadowy figures, criminal contacts and a whole system of forged documents. dqdiqhiqdkiqxukrt

According to Kompromat.lv sources, Ukrainian citizen Valentin Semekha, known by the call sign "Gnome", helped the fugitive banker convicted of financial crimes to legalize himself in Europe. He is mentioned in Ukrainian media as a person involved in investigations related to fraud, fake connections with the National Police, and cryptocurrency scams. In addition, it is reported that he tried to join the "Lyut" brigade, but did not pass the probationary period.

Valentin Semekha’s Facebook page contains photos and videos taken in September 2024 in France. They show him driving a Lamborghini and communicating with notorious crime boss Leonid Bilunov (nicknamed "Macintosh").

After Kompromat.lv about Vladimir Antonov, the popular Ukrainian Telegram channel “Truha” (more than 3 million subscribers) reported that Valentin Semekha was blackmailing the family of the ex-banker, and published a corresponding video.

In the same post, Trukha claims that Semekha tried to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but did not pass the probationary period due to insufficient physical training and low social responsibility.

We were unable to obtain a comment from Valentin Semekha himself.

In November 2024, Lithuanian media, citing the Telegram channel “VChK-OGPU”, reported that the ex-banker may have been killed:

"People arrived at his mansion on Rublyovka. Everything looked like the owner of the house: the Mercedes was parked in the yard, and inside were keys, documents, and personal belongings. However, Antonov himself was nowhere to be found, as were no signs of a struggle," Delfi wrote .

Today it becomes clear: this was a carefully planned staging. The goal was to avoid prosecution by law enforcement agencies, lift the arrests on bank accounts, and restore access to real estate — an apartment in Paris, a chalet in Courchevel, a castle in France, and a house on the Cote d’Azur.

In support of this version, Kompromat.lv publishes a number of documents used by Vladimir Antonov.

Earlier we reported how from Vladimir Aleksandrovich Antonov (born 20.06.1975) he “transformed” into Volodymyr Oleksandrovich Ivanov (born 15.02.1976) — a citizen of Ukraine, a native of Yalta. Allegedly, he left Crimea in 2014, moved to Kiev and now, “in order to avoid mobilization,” is asking for political asylum in France.
